I have found progress pictures to be of great importance when you’re trying to change your body composition. Often we don’t realize how much we’ve changed because we scrutinize ourselves on a daily basis. I usually find I’ve changed more than I thought I did. Numbers alone don’t tell the whole story. The scale is often our least reliable indicator of the amount of change that has taken place. So I encourage you, no matter how much you dislike taking photos of yourself, to do it. You don’t have to share them on social media. You don’t have to share them with anyone! I recommend taking photos anywhere from every one to three months, then put them side by side. Give it a try! I bet you’ll be surprised by what you see!
